Ingredients
12 oz pasta (rotini, penne, or bowtie)
6-8 slices halal bacon (cooked & crumbled)
1 cup cherry or grape tomatoes (halved)
1-2 cups romaine lettuce (chopped)
1/2 cup red onion (diced)
1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
1 cup ranch dressing (alcohol-free)
Instructions
Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water to cool.
Cook halal bacon until crispy, then crumble. Chop lettuce, tomatoes, and onion into bite-sized pieces.
In a large bowl, combine cooled pasta, halved tomatoes, diced onion, shredded cheese, and crumbled halal bacon.
Pour ranch dressing over the mixture and toss until everything is well coated.
Fold in chopped romaine lettuce right before serving to preserve crispness.
Chill for 30–60 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use pasta shapes like bowtie for visual appeal.
Select thick-cut halal bacon for enhanced crunch.
Verify ranch dressing is alcohol-free (e.g., homemade or vegan brands).
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3–4 days.
