1 cup milk + 1/4 cup heavy cream
1 egg
1/4 cup sugar
2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
1/4 cup butter (softened)
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Peach Filling
3 cups fresh peaches (chopped or sliced)
1/4 cup sugar (granulated or brown)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon cornstarch
Cinnamon Filling
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup butter (softened)
Crumb Topping (Streusel)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup brown sugar + 1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/4 cup butter
Cream Cheese Glaze
4 oz cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup heavy cream or milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, salt, and milk/cream mixture. Add egg, vanilla, and softened butter. Knead until smooth.
Let dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour until doubled in size.
Roll dough into a rectangle (14×18 inches). Spread softened cinnamon-butter-sugar filling.
Arrange peach slices evenly over the filling. Fold dough into thirds and slice into 12 rolls.
Place rolls in a baking dish, cover, and let rise 30 minutes.
Combine crumb topping ingredients and refrigerate until ready to use.
Bake rolls at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes or until golden. Top with crumb mixture and bake 5 minutes more.
While rolls cool, blend cream cheese glaze ingredients and drizzle over rolls.
Notes
Use ripe but firm peaches for best texture.
All-purpose flour can be substituted for bread flour.
