Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil, divided
12 ounces broccoli florets
1 pound lean ground chicken (97% lean)
1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
2 tablespoons honey
2-3 tablespoons sriracha
2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground ginger
Toasted sesame seeds (optional for garnish)
Sliced green onions (optional for garnish)
Instructions
Heat half the olive oil in a large non-stick skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until crisp-tender, then remove and set aside.
Heat the remaining oil in the same skillet and add the ground chicken.
Cook the chicken, breaking it apart with a spatula, until fully browned and cooked through.
In a small bowl, whisk together the sweet chili sauce, honey, sriracha, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, and ground ginger.
Add the cooked broccoli back to the skillet with the chicken.
Pour the sauce mixture over the ingredients and stir to coat thoroughly, cooking for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Serve immediately garnished with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a pan over medium heat for best texture. If you prefer more heat, increase the sriracha to 4 tablespoons.
