Description

A quick and flavorful breakfast quesadilla combining the sweetness of blueberries with creamy cheese. Perfect for busy mornings or family meals, offering a balance of nutrition and taste.

Ingredients

1 whole wheat tortilla
1 teaspoon soft cheese (or cream cheese / Greek yogurt)
1/3 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1 teaspoon maple syrup (or honey)
1/2 teaspoon unsalted butter

Instructions

Place the tortilla on a flat surface.
Spread the soft cheese evenly, leaving space around the edges.
Arrange blueberries evenly over the cheese layer.
Drizzle maple syrup over the blueberries.
Fold the tortilla into a half-moon shape and press gently.
Butter the outside of the folded tortilla.
Cook in a preheated pan or sandwich maker for 2-3 minutes until golden and crispy.

Notes

Use frozen blueberries for a berry jam flavor when they melt.
Greek yogurt adds a tangy twist to balance sweetness.
Substitute butter with coconut oil for a dairy-free version.
