Description

Ingredients

For the Cake:

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Cream Filling:

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease mold or mini loaf pan

2. Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl

3. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy

4. Add milk, egg, and vanilla extract; mix until smooth

5. Gradually fold dry ingredients into wet mixture

6. Spoon batter into molds 2/3 full and bake 15-20 minutes

7. Cool cakes 10 minutes in mold, then transfer to wire rack

8. Whisk heavy cream until soft peaks form, add powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form

9. Use piping bag to fill cakes with cream filling
