Description

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup buttermilk

1/2 cup vegetable oil

2 large eggs

1 cup chopped pecans


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. Line or grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.

3. Whisk flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.

4. Mix buttermilk, oil, and eggs in another bowl until smooth.

5. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir gently.

6. Fold in chopped pecans evenly.

7. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.

8. Bake for 50–60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.

9. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to rack to cool completely.
