Description

One Pot Creamy Cajun Sausage Pasta combines smoky sausage, tender pasta, and a rich, creamy Cajun-spiced sauce in one easy dish. It cooks in a single pot for quick cleanup and bold flavor.


Ingredients

12 oz penne pasta

1 lb smoked sausage (Andouille or kielbasa), sliced

1 medium onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 bell pepper, diced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

2 cups spinach

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

Salt to taste

Black pepper to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

Grated parmesan cheese (optional)


Instructions

1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

2. Add sliced sausage and cook until browned.

3. Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic and cook until softened.

4. Stir in pasta, chicken broth, and heavy cream.

5. Add Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper and mix well.

6. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and cover.

7. Simmer for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.

8. Stir in spinach and cook until wilted.

9. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

10. Serve hot with grated parmesan cheese.

Notes

Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
