Description

Make adorable Flower Pretzel Bites with just 3 ingredients! These sweet and salty treats are perfect for spring parties, Easter, or any celebration. Ready in 20 minutes!

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 bag mini pretzel twists (about 1012 ounces)
  • 1 bag candy melts (pastel colors for spring) or white chocolate chips
  • 12 bags small round candies (candy buttons, M&Ms, or similar — assorted pastel colors)

Optional Add-Ins or Variations

  • Sprinkles (pastel, flower shapes, or nonpareils)
  • Drizzle of colored white chocolate (use food coloring that works with white chocolate)
  • Small edible sugar pearls for flower centers

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare Your Work Surface

Line a baking sheet or tray with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. This keeps cleanup easy and prevents sticking

Step 2: Warm the Pretzels

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the mini pretzels in a single layer on your prepared baking sheet, making sure they’re not touching.

Step 3: Add Candy Melts

Place one candy melt or white chocolate drop right in the center of each pretzel. Try to nestle it into the twisted part — it’ll sit there nice and snug.

Step 4: Bake to Soften

Pop the baking sheet into your preheated oven for 2–4 minutes. You’re NOT trying to melt the candy completely — just soften it enough that it gets a little shiny and sticky.

Step 5: Add Candy Centers

Remove the baking sheet from the oven (carefully — it’s hot!). Immediately press one small round candy on top of each softened candy melt.

Step 6: Optional Decorations

If you’re feeling fancy (and why not?), now’s the time to add your extra sparkle! While the chocolate is still soft, you can add sprinkles around the candy center, place a tiny sugar pearl on top for extra detail, or drizzle melted candy in a contrasting color over the whole thing.

Step 7: Set & Serve

Let your pretzel bites sit at room temperature until the chocolate firms up completely — this usually takes about 15–30 minutes. If you’re in a hurry (or it’s a warm day), pop them in the refrigerator for 10–15 minutes to speed things up.

Notes

  • Keep extra candies nearby: Have your round candies already sorted and within arm’s reach before you open that oven door. Time is of the essence!
  • Use a variety of colors: Mix pink, purple, yellow, and blue candy melts and centers for a gorgeous flower garden effect. It looks so much prettier than all one color!
  • The drizzle trick: If you’re drizzling colored chocolate, put it in a zip-top bag, snip a tiny corner, and go for it. Less mess, more control!
  • Avoid common mistakes: Don’t walk away during baking — these go from perfect to overdone FAST. And don’t try to move them before they’re fully set or you’ll have a sticky mess!
