Description

Candied Watermelon Margarita is a refreshing summer cocktail that balances the sweetness of watermelon with the tang of lime and a hint of tequila. Perfect for backyard gatherings or relaxing evenings.

Ingredients

4 cups fresh watermelon, cubed

2 oz tequila (silver or reposado)

1 oz orange liqueur (Cointreau or Triple Sec)

1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice

2 tbsp agave syrup (or honey)

Ice cubes

Salt or Tajín for rimming glasses (optional)

Watermelon wedges for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. Cut watermelon into cubes, about 4 cups.

2. Combine watermelon, tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, and agave syrup in a blender.

3. Blend until smooth and creamy, adjusting sweetness if desired.

4. Strain the mixture through a fine strainer into a cocktail shaker.

5. Add ice cubes to the shaker, cover, and shake well.

6. Rim glasses with salt or Tajín if desired.

7. Pour margarita into prepared glasses and garnish with watermelon wedges.

Notes

Use fresh watermelon for best flavor and texture.

Adjust agave syrup based on sweetness of watermelon.

For extra chill without dilution, freeze some watermelon cubes and use instead of ice.

Serve immediately for optimal flavor.

Try adding jalapeño slices for a spicy twist.
