Ingredients
2 medium apples, peeled and diced
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 cup milk
1 large egg

Instructions
1. Peel and dice apples and mix with sugar and cinnamon.
2. Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
3. Mix milk, egg, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
5. Fold apple mixture into batter.
6. Heat oil to 350°F in a frying pan.
7. Drop spoonfuls of batter into hot oil.
8. Fry 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
9. Remove and drain on paper towels.
